So, it's been almost a full year since I've actually done one of these!
With that acknowledgement, here's what's new...
First of all, clearly the website is new, lol. Or at least, it's gotten a face-lift. Poke around if you haven't already, and check it all out! The Choose-her-adventure website has also gotten a bit of a face-lift as I learn more about how Weebly works, and so feel free to check that all out too. And feel free to let me know what you think! The Short stories have a new home in a blog (so people can comment and sharing is easier), I've condensed the 'Current Projects' tab from the homepage into a blog format so you and I don't have to worry about flipping between 50 pages to see what's going on. And I've added a social media stream to the home page so you can see all the things! I've got a few more spots to spruce up, but that's primarily what's been what!
One of the things I've been toying with lately has been hopping on Twitter when I start a new book and Live-tweeting as I read. Because why not? Interested in me doing that? Definitely let me know. Because I might do it anyway, but I will be more inclined if I know someone will actually be reading the live-tweets. And as far as I'm planning right now, all the books I live-tweet will be ones I haven't read before. So the reactions will be REAL!!! (Dun-dun-duuuuuun)
The WIPs have been going better now that I have an idea of where I"m going. I'm also uploading them in various locations for others to read (keep in mind, tho, for those perfectionists out there that I'm doing this for fun and these would be classified as Alpha-reads, as there has been minimal if any pre-editing. If that'll bug you, then wait until the book comes out :D) If that sounds like fun, head on over to This Post to read more and get links!
Something else I've been toying with have been Book Party Kits, a digital kit you get that has ideas, a strategy, and graphics all put together for any authors out there thinking of doing a book party/book party launch online. I haven't put anything together yet, but I'm gathering ideas. If this is something that sounds interesting to you, let me know what you'd look for, what you'd like, or if you'd be willing to just try out a Kit once they're available!
Green Beyond The Grave has been rolling on a decent basis! If you haven't stopped by to see how the Vegan Vampire has been doing, feel free to follow the link and check it out! Seems like his past has come to harass him a bit, but he's taking things in stride.
Last but not least, the short stories of last year have come with some very fun after-effects, like the Life Of A Bubble poem landing on a pair of shoes! Or the Epiphany Fairy poem being printed as wall art so you can try and summon them on your own time! Interested? All the short stories that have fun little memorabilia for you have links at the end of each story, so feel free to check it all out!
So there you have it! There'll still be more changes to come, more things I've been sitting on, but that's the majority of things for June. Thanks for sticking with me and stay safe out there!
